One of the internationally most reknown German showgrounds altogether, Luhmühlen is often referred to as the Mekka of eventing within our country. We're proud and happy for having this generous facility available to hold the debut of the North German Welshponyshow. 

The spacey idyllic turf is very well maintained and has hosted the German-wide IG Welsh Bundesschau exactly 20 years ago already. You will find it leaves nothing to wish for and enables us to hold two separate rings at the same time and visitors will be in a position to follow all classes held simultaneously without missing anything. Besides there are masses of covered seats available to accomodate exhibitors and visitors in case of rainfalls. Plenty of tree and bush surroundings provides spacious room in the shadow to build paddocks or use for camping and picknicking along the showgrounds.

The showgrounds are easily reached from the A7 motorways so it is well connected even if you have a bigger number of miles to bridge. We look forward to seeing you at Luhmühlen! 

01.July We are proud and happy our pilot project bears 100+ entries after subscribtion deadline! We particularly appreciate that so many ponies will participate both in hand and under saddle and will accept this as an encouragement to keep going this way. It is with sadness that we announce both driven classes had to be cancelled as there was no interest in them. Time to raise a special thank you to Eduard Laukotka, one of our leading organisators. While his main passion is for driving and he must be disappointed in this result after all the efforts, he never tires to provide advice and materials from his wealth of knowledge and the show benefits in more than just one aspect from his profound local connections. A big kudo from all of us! 

05. July Birka was as busy as a bee over the last couple of weeks. She had plenty to do afterwork with all the paperwork to do with preparing the show office side of things: Writing up the lists, creating a sensible timetable, design the catalog and provide it for the printers on time... One result of her great work: The timetable is confirmed and will be sent out in the 27th calendary week and the catalog is going to the printers on Monday! Good job Birka! If you are a participant and don't have your timetable one week prior to the show please don't hesitate to contact me by email and I will see to getting it to you again asap. Simultaneously all participants may introduce themselves and their ponies here with pictures and text from now on. Please email your material and make sure to clarify potential copyright situations beforehand. We will also need the names of the ponies and people pictured so they can be identified later on. Videos welcome as well. We'll be happy to put the material up in the galleries for future reference or in case your pony is for sale to present to prospective buyers for free. July 15: Only 4 more days to go! Please note covered and uncovered seating can be found alongside both rings. There will be one ring for the in hand classes and a separate ring for the sport classes. Both rings will be fully visible from the covered seating area which is positioned above the non-covered rows which are closer to the rings. Please make sure you do not block the view for anybody as we want to make sure visitors can enjoy viewing both rings at once.
